Up to date and accurate information is the first step in managing the impacts of recreation on public lands. Alberta Sustainable
Resource Development (SRD) ensures Albertans have access to the information that they require to recreate responsibly on
public lands. In addition, SRD provides recreational users with tips and practices on minimizing their recreational impacts
to the environment and on other users.
